T he building, in which the B&B La Sosta degli Artisti is located, is an historical palace.
The magnificent building in Art Nouveau style, right by the gate that faces the historical centre's entrance, was once the old “Hotel Italia”, an historical hotel in Pietrasanta which accommodated famous figures, artists, pilgrims and travellers from all over the world.
You will only need to look out from our wonderful terrace to be welcomed by the bohemian charm of Pietrasanta, with its cafés, bars and typical restaurants, with elegant shops and art shows, with the artisanal marble workshops and the sunsets from the green hills overlooking the city.
It is in a strategically good location: a few steps from the Cathedral and the train station, with views on the old city walls, called “La Rocca”.
Nowadays, even though the residence was completely restored, it keeps the same charm of those days.
