VERSILIA and its surroundings

The part of Tuscany called “Versilia” is an unique territory. One could think that it’s a difficult task to find a place where you can find at the same time: long beaches with golden sand, steep mountains and rolling hills, green parks and pine forests, art, culture, worldliness and fun. Maybe it’s because you never visited the region of Versilia.
One thing is certain: once discovered, it will be hard to withstand the temptation to visit it again.
Be it in summer or winter, it’s always the time to spend your vacations and your time off in this wonderful region. It does not lack natural pathways which can be travelled by foot or by bike, places where art and culture meet, well-equipped and organised beaches to insure the maximum of relax on the beach or locals that guarantee a lively and enviable night life.
The coast of Versilia is without a doubt one of the most famous in Italy, with its 28km of bike tracks which go from Viarreggio and follow the beach until Marina di Massa, passing by the town of Pietrasanta and the famous Vip Village of Forte dei Marmi.
The region of Versilia traditionally includes seven towns: Viareggio, Pietrasanta, Camaiore, Forte dei Marmi, Massarosa, Stazzema e Seravezza.
